Residential decorating covers full-house repaints, multi-room transformations, finishing after a renovation or extension, and preparing a property for sale or let. Sequencing a Whole-House Job

The reason whole-house decorating goes wrong is rarely the painting. It is running rooms in the wrong order and leaving a family with nowhere to live in their own house.

We agree the order with you before starting, and normally work so that bedrooms are returned to use before the next phase begins. Dust-generating preparation is grouped rather than spread across every day of the project. Where you are living in the property throughout, we plan around that explicitly rather than treating it as your problem to manage.

If a project needs to be phased across months — for budget or for practicality — the itemised quote makes that straightforward, because each room already carries its own figure and can be scheduled independently.

Do you take on whole-house projects?

Yes — full-house decorating is a regular part of our work, and several customers have had us back for further phases afterwards. Larger projects are quoted room by room so you can see and control the scope.

Can we live in the house while the work happens?

Yes, and most of our customers do. We agree the room order in advance, aim to return bedrooms to use before moving on, protect everything, and tidy at the end of each day.

Can the work be split across several months?

Yes. Because the quote is itemised per room, phasing is simple — you can approve part of it now and the rest later without the whole job needing to be re-priced.

Who will actually be doing the work?

Joseph, with the team. The person who quotes the job is the person delivering it, and you deal with him directly throughout rather than through an office.

Do you decorate after building work?

Yes. Finishing after a renovation or extension is common for us. New plaster needs a mist coat and the right preparation before topcoats, and skipping that is why fresh paint on a new wall sometimes peels.
